Questions & Answers

The collection includes options for newborns up to 12 years old, with different models designed for specific weight and height ranges. Group 0+ models suit babies from birth to 13kg, while combination seats can accommodate children from 9kg to 36kg as they grow.
Most models feature color-coded indicators and audible click systems that confirm proper attachment. The base typically shows green when correctly secured, and red when adjustment is needed. Many also include tension indicators for the vehicle belt path.
The majority of models work with standard 3-point seatbelts found in most cars. ISOFIX-compatible versions fit vehicles with ISOFIX anchor points, which are standard in cars manufactured after 2006. Checking the vehicle compatibility list before purchase is recommended.
All models comply with ECE R44/04 or i-Size (ECE R129) European safety standards, which involve rigorous crash testing and safety assessments. These certifications ensure the products meet strict requirements for side-impact protection and proper fit.
Fabric covers are typically machine washable at 30°C with mild detergent. The plastic shell can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Harness straps should only be spot cleaned to maintain their safety properties and should never be put in the washing machine.
Replacement is necessary if the product has been in a crash, shows visible damage, or when a child exceeds the maximum weight or height limits. Generally, moving to the next stage happens around 4 years old for Group 1 to Group 2/3 transition, though this varies based on the child’s size.

Keeping Little Ones Safe Since Day One
Nania started with a simple realization: every parent deserves to feel completely confident when buckling their child into a car seat. We’re a team of engineers, parents, and safety advocates who’ve spent over two decades perfecting child car seat technology. What began as a small European manufacturer has grown into a trusted name in family safety, but we’ve never lost sight of what matters most—protecting the precious cargo that makes every journey worthwhile.
Safety isn’t just our business; it’s deeply personal. Every Nania car seat goes through rigorous testing that exceeds industry standards because we know that behind every purchase is a parent who wants nothing but the best protection for their child. Our design philosophy centers on intuitive installation systems that eliminate guesswork, premium materials that provide lasting comfort, and innovative safety features that adapt as your little one grows. We’ve learned that true peace of mind comes from knowing your car seat was built by people who understand that there’s no room for compromise when it comes to child safety.
From newborn carriers to booster seats for growing kids, we’ve built our reputation on creating products that parents can trust completely. Our Italian-designed seats blend European safety standards with practical functionality that fits real family life. Whether you’re driving across town or embarking on a cross-country adventure, Nania ensures your most important passengers travel with the protection they deserve—so you can focus on making memories, not worrying about safety.

The installation was surprisingly straightforward—no wrestling with confusing straps like our previous seat. My 3-year-old actually asks to get in the car now because he loves his ‘spaceship seat.

After our first road trip, I’m convinced we made the right choice. Zero complaints from our usually fussy toddler during the 4-hour drive, and the side-impact protection gives me confidence on busy highways.
Marcus D.

I spent weeks researching safety ratings and this seat exceeded every standard I was looking for. The fact that it grows with my daughter means I won’t need to buy another seat for years.
